Below we provide help to interpret the dimensions of our products provided in price lists and quotes.
In general, when dimensions are given, width (where the opening is) always precedes length.
The dimensional tolerance of our products is governed by Hungarian standards. In the case of width and length, it is +/−5% (with products narrower or shorter than 150 mm, it is +/−10%), and in the case of material thickness, it is +/−10%.
On the website, in the webshop and in the quotes, unless otherwise indicated, we provide outer dimensions for all products (for example welding has to be subtracted from this to get the useful size).

T-shirt bags All kinds of T-shirt bags

Interpreting the dimensions of a T-shirt bag in the price list and quotes:

width + 2 x gusset + length x material thickness

For example, a 280 + 2 x 60 x 500 x 0.015 mm bag is 280 mm wide, 500 mm long (with the handle), and folding on both sides is 60 mm (this can be added to the width but can also be thought of as deepness), and thickness is 0.015 mm, that is, 15 microns.

Reinforced D cut bag/banana handle bag (adhesively bonded or welded)

Interpreting the dimensions of the D cut bag/banana handle bag in the price list and quotes:

width x length + wide bottom (if any) x material thickness

For example a 400 x 500 + 30 x 0.04 mm bag is 400 mm wide, 500 mm long (with the handles), and has a 30 mm folding at the bottom on both sides 3(that is, the whole bottom is 60 mm), and thickness is 0.04 mm, that is, 40 microns.

D cut bag/banana handle bag with a folded back handle

Interpreting the dimensions of the D cut bag/banana handle bag in the price list and quotes:

width x length + folding back + wide bottom (if any) x material thickness

For example a 450 x 550 + 70 + 40 x 0.05 mm bag is 450 mm wide, 550 mm long (with the handle), folding at the bottom on both sides is 40 mm (that is, the whole bottom is 80 mm), the reinforcing fold at the handle is 70 mm (in most cases, it is 70 mm), and thickness is 0.05 mm, that is, 50 microns.

Loop handle bags

Interpreting the dimensions of a loop handle bag in the price list and quotes:

width x length + folding back + wide bottom (if any) x material thickness

For example, a 400 x 420 + 70 + 35 x 0.045 mm bag is 400 mm wide, 420 mm long (up to the mouth), folding at the bottom on both sides is 35 mm (that is, the whole bottom is 70 mm), the reinforcing fold at the handle is 70 mm (in most cases, it is 70 mm), and thickness is 0.045 mm, that is, 45 micron.

Polyethylene flat bag or sack with a gusset

Interpreting the dimensions of a flat bag or sack with a gusset in the price list and quotes:

width + 2 x gusset x length x material thickness

For example, a 200 + 2 x 30 x 350 x 0.025 mm flat bag is 200 mm wide, 350 mm long, folding on both sides is 30 mm (this can be added to the width but can also be thought of as depth), and thickness is 0.025 mm, that is, 25 microns. At the bottom, the gusset is folded in and welded to the bottom, that is, there the gusset cannot open, therefore at the bottom, the bag or sack does not have a depth. Welding at the bottom reduces the useful length of the bag or sack by 11–16 mm.

Interpreting the dimensions of a flat bag with a wide bottom in the price list and quotes:

width x length + wide bottom x material thickness

For example, a 160 x 180 + 30 x 0.04 mm flat bag is 160 mm wide, 180 mm long, folding at the bottom on both sides is 30 mm, and thickness is 0.04 mm, that is, 40 microns.
